#CONTEMPORARY CELTIC MUSIC PLUS#
The winner of the competition was given a slot on the Whisky Stage plus a cash prize. New to this year’s festival, and in recognition of the huge talent that is out there amongst Speyfest audiences, a competition for “Entertainer of the Year” was introduced, open to under 25s in the Celtic based arts – singers, musicians, poets, comedians, either singly or as a group.

Speyfest 20, Fochabers - 31 July to 2nd August 2015 - The best in traditional and contemporary Celtic music. Cale is the contemporary folk music of Andy Beck. Formed in the early 2000s by members of local cover band Six Pack Theory, the McIans have performed all around Ohio. The show will be held in the Bridge Park section of Dublin and the line up, in addition to Dulahan, includes our friends The Ladies of Longford, Homeland, and The Drowsy Lads. The McIans play modern and traditional Celtic music in the vein of Flogging Molly, the Pogues, Dropkick Murphy’s, and other Celtic punk and rock favorites. 
North of Argyll is a touring band performing in the USA, Canada and Internationally. Performances include foot stomping music, stories, legends, and humor. The music style is a fusion of Contemporary and Rock. During the '80s and '90s, there were several artists that expanded the boundaries of Celtic music by adding elements of pop, rock, folk, jazz, and new age music. On Saturday August 7th, Dulahan will be performing at Dublin Irish Days in Dublin, Ohio. North of Argyll is a high energy Celtic Fusion band.
